Dude Drops Out

So the Illinois GOP finally got to him and Jack Ryan decides to throw in the towel for the Senate Race. I just wonder if it would have been better if his wife had consented to public sex ... in a cage ... in a club ... and someone had recognized or video taped it. Would the argument have been that, unconventional or not, he was within the confines of the sanctity of marriage?

Just as I didn't think that Clinton's shenanigans merited impeachment, this privileged information shouldn't have been a deal breaker in this campaign. He probably should have come clean from jump street. Moreover, if he knew he had political aspirations, he probably should have taken more care to control his fantasies. These things are bound to come out ...

Frankly, though, I think that him having Obama followed around with a video camera - violating his privacy and personal space - was a far more condemnable act. But he got his comeuppance! His political life is over before it began.
