If You're Going to Lie, Lie Big!

US admits rise in terror attacks

Colin Powell was out apologizing for the "error" last week but I guess they came clean with the correction (like half the dummies who support Bush are going to read it anyway). But to have twice as many attacks as you previously reported. That wasn't a mistake. It was more smoke and mirrors with the facts. Come now, people rarely remember retractions or corrections once the original story comes out. Heck, people still think Iraqis flew the planes on 9/11.

The US has more than doubled its estimation of the number of people killed by terrorism last year.
The state department said 625 people were killed in 2003, compared with the 307 it claimed in April.

The Bush administration seized on the original report as proof that its "war on terror" was succeeding.

US Secretary of State Colin Powell said there had been no attempt to deceive people, and blamed clerical and administrative errors.

A US official said the figure of 625 people killed worldwide was still lower than the previous year's 725 deaths.

These people just hurl lies at the wall to see what sticks!
