President Bush acted within his rights per The Patriot Act. All this talk of "Bush broke the law & therefore should be impeached" is fundamentally wrong. How can a President who did not break any laws be impeached? Can someone enlighten me?
They have Bush stating directly that there needds to be a warrant for wiretaps and that it wasn't a part of the Patriot act. Court authorization was still required. He knew it. He stated it was the way that issue would be handled and he violated his own rules.
