I'm Sure Oprah Is Crushed

I don't like 50 Cent. Why do people interview him like he is is a voice that needs to be heard - particularly about politics (can nukka even vote?) or potentates (like Oprah)? Why would a woman who has been raped and molested have performers, who call women bitches and hos, on her show?
He usually saves his beefs for other rappers; this time, 50 Cent is going after Oprah Winfrey.

In an interview with The Associated Press, 50 complained that Winfrey rarely invites rappers on her talk show: "I think she caters to older white women."

"Oprah's audience is my audience's parents," the 29-year-old rapper said. "So, I could care less about Oprah or her show."

He's not alone in his resentment toward the talk show host cum media mogul.

Rapper-actor Ludacris, aka Chris Bridges, said in the May issue of GQ magazine that Winfrey was "unfair" during a show he appeared on last October with co-stars from best-picture Oscar winner "Crash."

"She edited out a lot of my comments while keeping her own in," he said. "Of course, it's her show, but we were doing a show on racial discrimination, and she gave me a hard time as a rapper, when I came on there as an actor."

Winfrey's representative at her production company, Harpo, told the AP that Winfrey was unavailable for comment.

But, as 50 Cent said, Winfrey's purported disapproval might enhance a rap star's street cred.

"I'm actually better off having friction with her," he said.

Ludacris needs to be glad she let him on her show at all. The fact that he now acts does not change the fact that he is a rapper, first and foremost, and made his initial millions singing about having "hos in different area codes." That is hardly the kind of music that a woman, who is all about empowering women, would feature on her show. But, proving true to their lack of insight or empathy for how violated some women feel by the words in their songs, they choose to whine like "bitches" because one of the most respected women in the WORLD isn't giving them props. I'm so sure she cares about their pissant complaining and, definitely, is better off ignoring anything they have to say.

(Note: please don't ever get me started on the nimrods who think that the word ludicrous is spelled "Ludacris.")

just to make sure you have the facts straight, ludacris was first and foremost a radio dj in atlanta named chris luva luva

don't get me started on the elasticity of the english language.

it is one thing to not realize ludacris is an intentional respelling of ludacris (like cris/chris). it is another to not realize that poetic license can be extended to spelling variants :)

peace

I could care less from whom or where Ludacris got his name. My problem is that some folks, if they want to use the word ludicrous in a real life setting, don't know how to spell it.
