If Only He'd Had This Attitude On Dancing With The Stars ...

I don't keep up with these rappers much but was highly disappointed with Master P's attitude and performance during the season that he was on Dancing With The Stars. That program takes celebrity fish out of the proverbial water. Clearly, he was not a ballroom dancer but this fool wouldn't even wear the right shoes, suits or even take off his hat. I understand that he was a last minute fill in for his son but I thought his behavior was abominable. I was pissed because so many people kept voting for him despite the fact that he didn't even try - AT ALL! I don't know if he was trying not to "look like a punk," but in my eyes he looked exactly like one. I thought he should have seen the larger picture, dressed appropriately, behaved elegantly and maybe even designed a line of formal wear so that even"hard azzed thugs" could look suave and debonair. But nooooooo, he made a mockery of the show.

In any case, he's apparently decided to clean up his act in other ways - namely taking the high road with 50 Cent.

Master P has responded to last week’s diss from 50 Cent during the 2007 BET Awards’ Press Conference.

Curtis Jackson’s comment motivated me. There are a lot of immature people in the world. Oprah Winfrey is absolutely right, we need to grow up and be responsible for our own actions.

I paid for Curtis’s first rap tour through the south. He was such a humble guy at the time. Most artists’ mission is to sell records. My mission is to help save and change lives.

There’s a lack of knowledge and false information out there. I could actually say Little Jay and Rap-A-Lot Records inspired my successful career and I will always respect them no matter what.

I wrote the blueprint for this generation. The only difference is there’s no more honor and respect in the game ...
