They Ruin Everything In The Name Of The Lord

I caught a glimpse of this mess on CNN this morning.

One man's "jihad" is another man's "crusade". It's all religious belief in favor of evil.

A group of Christian protesters tried to shout down a Hindu clergyman who was invited to give the opening prayer during yesterday's session of the Senate. Capitol Police say they arrested three people after they stood up and started yelling "this is an abomination" when guest chaplain Rajan Zed invited the Senate to join him in prayer.

Before 9/11 the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history was from a radical Christian. They're all threats.

A few years ago I worked at a company that was pretty diverse. There were a number of East Indians so the company decided to celebrate Diwali. The admin sent out the lunch invite and since I love Indian food so I was ready, ready, ready! But then a reply came from one co-worker who went on and on about how this holiday celebrated a lot of Gods that he didn't believe and and how we shouldn't have that kind of celebration because there was only one God ... yada, yada, yada!

Now you know I was HOT! I so wanted to email him back to tell him to take his born again ass to McDonald's if he didn't want to come to the party. But, the replies from everyone else were so swift and critical of him that I kept my licks for him to myself. Ultimately, everyone was so agitated by the whole scene that the lunch was cancelled. As hard as I worked there, I felt I deserved a good, free lunch and a dang party with my East Indian co-workers. That zealot ruined it and I never really spoke to him with a sincere smile again.
