I don't know where Pat Buchanan grew up but I find him to be exactly like the ignorant, racist, ill-bred "South Side Irish" types I was subjected while growing up in Chicago and while attending a really nice Catholic university (so much for their version of the faith we shared). Why can't people of his ilk just shut the hell up?
I've been agreeing with Pat on his views on the war and the ridiculous band of criminals who have hijacked the Republican Party but he always slinks back to his backwards, uninformed, blinded by stereotypes rhetoric! Ugh!

Comments such as this reduce your effectiveness. Buchanan was born and raised in DC, Jesuit educated.... From your comments one might draw the conclusion that you are as closed minded and bigoted as Buchanan himself-- no one wants that!
I'm sorry you had a negative experience in college. Don't you think it's time to grow up and get over it?
Get over what? The ignorance I still deal with everyday? My point is that he doesn't know what a "black guy from the South Side of Chicago" should act like but I DO KNOW first hand what a white, Irish guy from the South Side of Chicago does!"
My mind isn't closed and everytime I am stupid enough to think people like him have disappeared, they pop right back up and crack my head right back open!
