I'm Over Diane Feinstein
A waste of an election cycle. With the resounding defeat that the GOP and the Bush administration received last year, you'd think the Democrats - who were given a clear mandate - would use a little sense, a little backbone and a little of their power to follow the voice of the people. I guess not.
I like Chuck Schumer too but am not surprised by Diane Feinstein. I was through with her on that desecration of the flag bill she supported that didn't pass. I'll write her again and am sure I'll get another one of her lame, form letter responses.
Sens. Charles Schumer and Diane Feinstein say they will vote for Attorney General-nominee Michael Mukasey, which likely gives him enough support to pass the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Their decision came shortly after the chairman of the committee, Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., announced he would vote against Mukasey, a former federal judge.
“This is an extremely difficult decision,” Schumer said in a statement, adding that Mukasey “is not my ideal choice.”
